HDgakure- the Village Hidden in the Hard Drive

What is HD-gakure? In geek terminology, "HD" is an acronym for "Hard Drive," and "gakure" is the suffix for hidden ninja villages. So, HDgakure is "The Village Hidden in the Hard Drive." HDgakure, located in The Land of Geeks, is the home village of SuperGrouper and SuperWombat.

SuperGrouper uses her hard drives to hold research, art, websites and tons of anime media, plus other random things.

Like Konoha, HD's founding involved an exchange between two powerful ninja. History records it as follows:

SuperGrouper: 'We need to make a parody ninja village! ...I know, the 'Village Hidden in the Hard Drive!'

SuperWombat: *sweatdrop*

Thus was transpired the birth of that most noble and strange of ninja villages, HDgakure!

HD-nin are known for their geekiness and strange taste in clothing, which often combines kimono and other wafuku with Western clothes such a blue jeans. The most dreaded ability of HD-nin is "Text-Editor-no-jutsu!"

HD-gakure is located in the mountains and its wildlife includes snow foxes, strange phoenix-like birds and sea monsters. (Please don't ask us how sea monsters ended up in the mountains- we don't know either. They're just there.) HDgakure's main sources of revenue are commissioned web design and art, and the village grows large crops of man-eating plants. (HD-gakure is also home to PETMA, 'People for the Ethical Treatment of Man-eating Plants.')

While Iwagakure is famous for its NDGS (Ninja Dairy Goat Squad,) HDgakure's most famous animal is the NINJA SENSEI, a grey cat with awesome ninjutsu skills, who functions as a teacher and ninja-exam proctor.

The official pattern for the Village Hidden in the Hard Drive is composed of large, purple polka dots on a turquoise background. The approximate hexadecimal values for this are #0000aa for the turquoise background and #553399 for the purple polka-dots. Other official colors include #ccccff blue, which is often used for background colors, #ccaaff lilac, which is used for the same and #990055, which is often used for website links. #aaaa00 gold is also used for links and some borders. (Aren't you glad that I didn't do Project Akatsuki using those colors, although I love them?)

The HDkage, the leader of HDgakure, is THE NINJA SENSEI, AKA 'grey cat.' Her close attendants are SuperGrouper and SuperWombat. (SuperGrouper ran for kage of HDgakure, but the grey cat got 99% of the votes.)

HDgakure has a thriving arts culture, and is home of the 'Total Randomness School of Art.' Past students of this school include Sai of Konoha, Konan, Sasori, Deidara and SuperGrouper. (Students who graduate from this art school tend to be ~~a little bit strange~~ very strange.

HD-nin are geeky and like strange clothing. The shinobi depicted, 'SuperGrouper,' is wearing is a 'Grouper mix' of the Akatsuki uniform. Itachi reportedly went blind after seeing its bright colors.
